Sakumoto Drabble: Take A Deep Breath

Too long away from writing, and desperately wishing for proper writing time to complete "Thunderstorms and Tempest".  In the meantime, a little drabble after the much-beloved Sakumoto HnA episode with snakes.

Summary: You can assume this "behind-the-scene" takes place after the filming of "The Last Mission" from 23022012 Himitsu no Arashi-chan.

He could feel the shuddering in his chest as he fought to quell his growing panic.  The desire to pull away was intensifying, as was the need to cling, to dig in his heels.

He could do this, he decided.  Or Nino would give him grief until one of them died.  Strike that; he’d probably expire instantaneously if Nino even learnt about this.  No; now was not the time to be thinking about Nino.  Not when he had a point to prove.

It was with deep satisfaction when he felt Jun put a semblance of distance between them.

“Who were you saying can hold his breath longer again?” And no, Sho did not just try to hide his face-splitting grin.  Jun’s eyes narrowed murderously, but the tell-tale twitch of his kiss-reddened lips sent a different message.

"Revenge, Sho-kun, is a dish best served cold."

Jun's veiled mock-threat as he exited was only effective in sending a shiver down Sho's spine... one of anticipation that the older man more than welcomed.

*sigh* RL sucks to the point of not enough zzz and wishing the clock had more than 24 hours. I'm definitely not giving up on finishing T&T, especially since I had it half-written before RL interrupted. *pouts at self too*
